At Morch, operated by Chim Labs, we are committed to protecting the privacy of our users and participants. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information in compliance with the Mexican Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP) and its Regulations.

1. Data Controller

Chim Labs, located in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico, is responsible for the processing of your personal data.

2. Personal Data We Collect

Depending on your interaction with Morch, we may collect the following personal data:

From Users (project creators): Full name, email address, account information (access credentials), billing and payment information, and platform usage data.

From Participants (interviewees): Responses provided during interviews, audio or text transcriptions generated during the session, IP address and technical device data, and any personal data the Participant voluntarily provides during the interview.

3. Purposes of Processing

Primary purposes: Provide and manage the Platform's services, process and facilitate AI-powered automated interviews, generate transcriptions, summaries, and analysis of interviews, manage user accounts and process payments, and handle technical support requests.

Secondary purposes: Improve the quality of our artificial intelligence models and services, conduct statistical and usage analysis of the Platform, send communications about updates, new features, or service changes, and comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

4. Use of Artificial Intelligence

Morch uses artificial intelligence technology to conduct and analyze interviews. Participant responses are processed by language models to generate transcriptions and analysis. We do not use interview data to train third-party AI models without explicit consent. Data is processed securely with appropriate confidentiality measures.

5. Data Transfers

Your personal data may be transferred to cloud service providers for storage and processing (located in the United States), artificial intelligence service providers for interview processing, and payment processors for transaction management. These transfers are carried out with appropriate security measures and in accordance with applicable data protection agreements.

6. Security Measures

We implement administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal data against damage, loss, alteration, destruction, or unauthorized access, including data encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access control, continuous security monitoring, and periodic security audits.

7. ARCO Rights

You have the right to Access, Rectify, Cancel, or Oppose (ARCO rights) the processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, send your request to: privacy@morch.ai. Your request must include your full name and contact information, documents verifying your identity, a clear description of the personal data and rights you wish to exercise, and any documentation that facilitates locating your data. We will respond within a maximum of 20 business days from receipt of your request.

8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Morch uses cookies and similar technologies to maintain your active session, analyze Platform usage, and improve the user experience. You can manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings.

9. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, or for the period required by applicable law. Interview data is retained while the associated project remains active and can be deleted by the project creator at any time.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be published on the Platform and, in the case of material changes, we will notify registered Users by email.
